We know everyone may have questions and queries about our retail business and offerings. Here are some of the FAQs we've already had. Hopefully, these answers will answer many of your questions:

Why Pre-Orders?

Since our complete overhaul and rebrand in 2022, we knew we wanted to have a greater product offering. With that in mind we focus on having higher quality garments that don't compromise on our team's original artistic vision. We wanted to bring these pieces to everyone as quickly as we envision them and dozens of designs are cut or saved for a later release. ; ) We as a team have had issues with other brands and found that preorders solve these.

Size Inclusivity - Even amongst the Ab•Stract collective we span a range of sizes and heights and have dealt with our size being the first to see the dreaded "sold out" or not even have our size be offered at all. So by offering Pre-ordering we can make sure everyone gets the pieces they want.

Quality Assurance - We've all seen the social media post, something comes in and it's not at all what was in the photographs. The graphic is off, the wrong size was sent or the piece is falling apart before it was even taken out of the box. We never want that to be the case! So before anything even gets to you each piece is checked and double-checked to make sure it's up to our standards and in line with our vision.

Community Focus - When Ab•Stract was first started in 2016 it was a completely non-profit "streetwear" brand. As in no profits and everything went to charity. While that was a great message it wasn't sustainable. We at the Ab•Stract Collective want to continue that vision in a more refined manner. We are able to bring a much wider range of products to you and give back more overall to the community. Currently, 5% of profit from all of Ab•Stract's retail sales go to different causes and foundations that we support. The goal is to bring that to 30% by 2030. As we continue to scale we want to keep a balance between our price points and our outreach. So preorders help us to keep that price reasonable.

Clothing waste - We want to offer our products to be in line with demand, and yes there will be regular stock. That being said the team as a whole has more than 30 years of combined experience in the fashion and retail industry -and boy do we have some stories- one thing we've seen too often is excess production and clothing going to waste. As much as we'd love for everyone to like our products we know that's not the case. So instead of being another big company that drops off unwieldy piles of unsold pieces to a secondary store or worse yet burns their unsold merchandise. We'd rather offer preorders with limited regular-run stock.
